The Danger of Leaving Prayer -Sheikh Feiz

Assalamu Allaykum

We Muslims are commanded by Allah(SWT)to pray 5x a day. They are fixed at certain times. Our prayer(saalat)is very important.

Allah(SWT)says:


Be ever mindful of prayers,
and of praying in the most excellent way;
and stand before God in devout obedience.
[Qur'an 2:238]

The Apostle of Allah was asked:
Which of the actions is best? He replied:
Observing prayer early in its period.
[Abu Dawud 2: 426]

The first matter that the slave will be brought to account for on the Day of Judgement is prayer. If it is good, then the rest of his deeds will be good. And if it is bad, then the rest of his deeds will be bad. [At Tabarani]

The list goes on of the Quran and hadith reminding us of the importance of prayer.

May we all establish regular prayer. Ameen

@falcon02012 but he also quoting people from the past to help to understand how important it is. thats all but he is not saying practise how they used to practise to punish the muslim who was not praying.

he is just pointing out the people that they used to take salah very seriously

i believe if any muslim do not follow the five pillar of islam - Shahadah, prayer, fasting, hajj and jakkah.

if we dont believe we are not muslim or if we dont practise we are commiting one of the biggest sins and we will be punished greatly.

these are the ones quran and hadiths said, right?

so what is wrong believing in them and feiz saying the same thing,
