If people can own and walk with a deadly weapon like a dog then we should be allowed to carry a knife we have all seen footage of these little bastards in action you cant get them off once they turn.

You are what's wrong with this country today, you think that's the only side of this story? A dangerous dog is defined by appearance and nothing else. It's a terrible law and seriously needs looking at. You're clearly a clueless moron who thinks everything the government does is perfect. Please kindly fuck off.

Any dog can snap yes, but would you rather a legal dog snap at you or an illegal dog....... A pitbull could kill someone with ease
-
I am glad this law is in place. What about all the children and adults who have been attacked by these violent animals......kill them all.

The government are hypocrits. Any dog is as dangerous as another. If they really wanted to protect people they would ban all dogs, but they ban the dogs that happen to be more muscular. They need to actually research the breed. I am Australian and I can't own the same illegal breeds as the UK and I have seen these so called 'Dangerous Dogs' being more calm or gentle than a Lab that happens to be a LEGAL dog. Someone needs to punch the parlimentarians who banned these dogs.

one of the main reasons is people are looking at the wrong end of the lead.... trying taking a look at the person who has done so much damage to a dog that is has turned viscous.... the dog isn't the problem the sick people who make them like this are.... and people are just misjudging one of the most amazing breeds...

I rescued my staffy over a year ago and found out yesterday that the police are coming to take her and she'll be destroyed. The law is wrong and we need to get changed. My dog is in no way dangerous hence why she was released. But due to the pervious owner breaking the law and giving her away she is going to pay the ultimate sacrifice. I'm absolutely heart broken!!!!
