Unbrick/Install Firmware on a CECT P168/P168+

This is only necessary if you want to attempt to install a different firmware version, if screwed up your phone by flashing it wrong, or if you made changes to your phone and just want to go back to the original setup. You do not need to do a full flash to customize your firmware. There are ways to just patch sections of your firmware to customize some of the graphics and sounds within the phone's OS. (Although I never tried to change any sounds yet.)

my P168C has gone crazy man...

One corner of the touch screen thinks im touchin it all the time...

Its really annoying...

Do you know how to fix it?

It's possible that the touch screen is damaged but it could also be caused by something else. This happened to me once. It was caused by a grain of sand stuck between the screen and the plastic at the corner of the screen.

If you get an error after the red bar goes accross, you have to go to the "Options" menu, go down to "Baseband chip option", and UNCHECK "Check baseband chip ECO version".

hi! i hav a haosung n3000 n it got bricked through "high speed sim" option in engineering mode, is there anyway the software can b read off the dead phone n back it up n reintall it lyk in ur other video??? It's a great phone n i miss it :-( plz get back 2 me as soon as possible, thank u :-)

when i press download, i dont know what button to press?

i got it into download mode

volume down + Camera + On button

but when i press download it says

I have a P168+ and i want to convert it to P168C i followed the guide on the P168 forumotion site but no luck and the phone was messed i didnt hava backup so i sent it back to the maufacturer and got it fixed but i want to convert my p168+ to p168C now, please can u help

Hi, first I want to thank you about your great videos. Do you know how to enable engineering mode, becouse I used *#6810# which disabled engineering mode? I think there is code for that but could not find it from google.
