To see another SUPERB Chinese dance, and also fan dance (and, in my opinion the best Chinese fan dance ever), try to search 扇舞丹青 on youtube, also an original choreographic work from Bejing Dance Academy.

The dance is Korean dance but the dancer and choreographer are Chinese. They're from Bejing Dance Academy.
For neiln9, her name is Luo(surname) Yin(first name). However if you type Luo Yin, I dont think you'll find anything. Try the Chinese version of her name, 罗莹 on google and add 北京舞蹈学院 (Bejing Dance Academy) and you'll see lots of Chinese data coming out including several video clips.

costume color and design are spectacular - the fan is an exclaimation point and the dancer knows how to use it. her performance is superb. music is perfect and the female vocal is icing on the cake. excellent video quality on this one - good work !!!

well she is supposedly "ugly"
and she would have never gone on stage
but she practiced so hard and begged them to let her go on stage
she finally was allowed to go on stage and she won
all her hard work paid off
thats the story my mom told me (my mom heard this from the president of the dance school)
