The FA Youth Cup sponsored by E.ON
Old Trafford youngsters lift Youth Cup
By - Monday, 23 May, 2011
Manchester United overcome Sheffield United to clinch silverware.

Manchester United win 6-3 on aggregate

Ravel Morrison and Will Keane scored a brace apiece to see off Sheffield United and help Manchester United's youngsters lift The FA Youth Cup sponsored by E.ON.

A day after their senior counterparts were handed the Premier League trophy, Old Trafford's up and coming talent earned their own moment of glory as they beat the Blades 6-3 on aggregate to register the club's tenth success in the competition.

Morrison got the scoring underway finishing well into the bottom corner before Keane got his first from the penalty spot after Terry Kennedy's handball inside the area.

Sheffield United's Harry Maguire went off on a stretcher early in the second half shortly before Morrison made it 3-0 with low drill into the corner.

Joe Ironside pulled one back for the visitors but Keane responded with another to round off the scoring and see United claim the Youth Cup for the first time since 2003.

  • Hate it when the commentators say "Oh and they've won it now" No, they've won it when the final whistle is blown, anything can happen and its not impossible. 3 Goals to be scored in 5 mins have happened before and surely one day will happen again. Oh and if the thick twat didn't notice then there was 2 United's on the pitch, if he wasn't such a biased cunt then he'd of noticed that, plus Sheffield United are the original United, rant over.

  • @gobbychard we could say the same for keane. Amazing player, fast, clever and has great potential to score!

  • you can see why we don't want morrison to leave... at least i don't. pogba either.

will n mike keane, larnell cole, zeki fryers, morrison, pogba all first team now... and tunnicliffe soon too...

  • Imagine this guy (Morrison) against Barcelona? 2 season's time this guy will be unstoppable, that's what we need anyway Tunnicliffe/Pogba/Morrison in midfield, better than Carrick anyway or a 40 year old former winger (Giggs) legend that he is in CM.

  • We are simply the BEST! That's why we win.

  • lol, that was pathetic!

  • @sesbokyankeproducts Well, you gloryhunters ballsed it up.

  • 1:06 well sold

  • Ravel morrison will be a legend he is amazing cant wait to see him get some first team next season GGMU

  • @sesbokyankeproducts too bad you didn't.
