the only thing i like about this guys drumming is his custom sticks. their the perfect weight and length i like but they break ALL THE TIME! how the hell can he beat on them so much but when i do they literally split in half? i had a pair for a day. an hour into playing one split in the center. happens every time. however my pro-mark simon phillips sticks have lasted months and months through heavy playing.

step your game up with sticks please zildjian. stop using balsa wood...

@AdamScadAdam You can still hit hard as long as you maintain good technique. I am hard hitter and I have almost perfect technique and I am not frowned upon because of it.

@AdamScadAdam What, is this your first or second year of drumming? thinking you know everything about drums? Yeah I had that stage to a few years ago. Guess what, all drummers have different styles of playing. Chad smith from RHCP is also a VERY hard hitting drummer followed by oh probaly like 50,000 other drummers. Since when was hitting hard a "disgrace to the drumming community"?
