newer one: brighter, more compressed. older one: more dynamic. I'd take older one.

Personally, I would rather hear a strat with a fuzz, than a les paul. Thats just me though.

@TheDcervi its pretty good. you can adjust them to get a wide range of tones. i use them to get a low battery, horn like sound. kinda what eric johnson goes for. im still tweaking it everyday though to get it to sound right.
