I have this amp pushing a Marshall cabinet and it is amazing!!! I play through SD Buckers, SD P-90's and a Tele with SD's in it and I get no noise what so ever and i don't use a noise gate at all. After using high power heads in my younger years, having one of these and get this good of distortion is just KILLER!!!! And the fact you don't loose your speaker when you hook up an external cabinet, so your gaining a 12, the sound is more spread out and smooth...try it, you won't be let down!!

@MatKiller1197 used to be, I've become a Charvel fanboy after my latest purchase :) And Roland is a great brand, but I would choose a peavy 5150 top with a 4x12 cab any day of the week...but since I don't have the money or the space in my room I'll have to make do with the cube 80x

i want to get a new amp and i'm interested in the roland ones but i only have enough money for the 20x should i get that one or should i wait till i have money for the 80x?

@unowsk8t Well both amps are (and sound) great, so it really depends on wheether you need the extra 60 watts of power. Are you going to use it for live performances or just for home practicing?
If you only use it for home practicing and smaller stages, then take the 20x. Its a great little amp.
If you need the extra watts and some of the extra features (such as a looper and spring reverb) then go for the cube 80x
All in all, you can't really go wrong here. They're both great! :)
