Also, I enjoyed the Sherlock Holmes movie too. Love me some Robert Downey Junior and Jude Law. People complain that it's not true enough to the source material, so if you don't care about Sherlock Holmes source material, then you have no reason not to go rent it. It was an intellectual and visual delight to me. :3 You heard it here first, folks.

Also, if you want someone to be appalled at disrespecting the source material, show them this video. XD

Also also also, why did I turn Sherlock Holmes into a homicidal maniac? Well, you see, I was trying to think of an anime to go with Sherlock Holmes, and as someone who primarily watches shoujo and moe anime, I was drawing a blank. And then I'm like "OMGP Baccano! is an action and a period piece!" (Ok, Sherlock Holmes is 19th century England as envisioned by Hollywood and Baccano! is 1930s America as envisioned by Japan, but you know what, it's 2010, it all looks the same from this vantage point.) The next question was who was Sherlock. I was considering Maiza, because he kind of seems smart, but I'm like "No, he's too minor, and he doesn't do anything..." I threw the idea of using Claire around, but I'm like "No, he's a homicidal maniac..." and then I gave up and just tried to make it work. XD Hope you enjoy all the gorey goodness!
