It may be that powerful interests who own the media in the West are suing the Olympics to demonstrate their power (and potential value) to the Chinese leadership. People like Rupert Murdoch, who owns Fox News in the US. He is not happy with the way he was treated in China a few years ago. He will say nice things about China in his media when China gives him what he wants. He has done the same in the US, the UK (he owns "The Sun") and before that, in Australia (where he came from).

should be "using", not "suing". Also, I am speculating. I do not know this for a fact. I base it on his past behaviour.
