Right on! From 70-79 they were a match for any band, and even on the earliest 80's albums there were some killer tracks, rick, francis, alan and john (and bob!) were the mutts nuts. The members since then were good musicians, but this is, and always will be Quo. I dunno who gave you a thumb down, but I'll guarantee they cant name a single album as good as the ones they recorded with this line up.

Best rock band ever
Heads down boogie, in a line hair aflying
The Quo could cut it without even trying,
Deep in the groove young turks plying
This sweet kind of rock that I sure was buying.

But then in 1983, Quo recorded 'Margureita Time'
Then came 'In The Army Now', such a load of slime,
'Ain't Complaining' and 'Perfect Remedy' left me cold,
And made me yearn for the days of old.
