@dm3830 Actually some were butchered for parts after they left, so in a kind of way they were scrapped.
-
Full credit to Mr Scrapyard for saving all those steam trains
-
It makes me sad to see a scrapped steam engine getting pulled away by a diesel engine :(
-
@MrJezza31 lmao.
Blimey, dont throw your dummy out the pram. Blimey anyone would think I said something really offensive.
-
@Marillionmad shut up you little ****
-
@123legodude If you'd bothered to Google it, or read the video description, you'd see that this loco has been moved to the Avon Valley Railway for restoration.
-
123legodude: This is old footage and a tiny amount of research by google or even any thought at all would tell you no it was not on the way to get cut up. Barry was a scrapyard. Remember? Think about it! Engines leaving weren't getting scrapped.
-
i hope it is being repaired and not going to get cut up and melted down
-
Not sure there would be interest or room for restoring yet another rebuilt spamcan anyway. I like the bulleids a lot but to be honest I think we have enough of them now.. It's a bit like the Southdown PD3 bus.. they are so frequent at bus rallies they are almost the norm now!
