Led Zeppelin - Wearing and Tearing (cover) Bass Drums Guitar Vocals

Oy, gevalt .....

Well I started this a couple of months ago and couldn't bothered finishing it at the time. I was just about ready to shitcan it but I'd spent so much effort on learning the drums and recording the backing that I felt the need to complete it. Me and my motivation, huh.

The original track isn't nearly as well known as it ought to be. I wouldn't call it 'obscure' but as it comes from the Coda album, it doesn't have half of the recognition of something like "Whole Lotta Love" or even "Achilles Last Stand". There is a kewl video out there of Robert Plant and Jimmy Page playing it in 1990. Dig their fashions.

Apologies for every flubbed note, skipped beat and bleated word! I'm not equal to any one member of Led Zeppelin, never mind all four of them ...




Tranchera, wipe that look off your face - at least this got finished, UNLIKE OUR COVER OF "IF I NEEDED SOMEONE"...
and Pablo668 - yes, next time I will call you for the singing!

Anyway, I think that covers everything - this is just about my favourite Led Zeppelin track and while I have rendered it rather poorly, I had enormous fun doing it! Hey - even Ringo gets to sing a song now and again!
