what does he mean when he says when you walk past them in the corridoor and you dont show the veterans respect? what are you meant to do, get on your hands and knees and lick their boots? would saying hi and walking on without kissing their ass be disrespectful?

he's saying for example, if u walk past them and dont acknowledge them after all they done to make that person a big star, its like a slap in the face to them. he says u gotta be hard working, show appreciation and respect when the time comes, not just whenever!

he means dont just walk past them thinking that they're some road agent or script writer. recognize who they are and what they've done for the business
