How the hell did anyone ever take Quint seriously? If I was involved with a guy like that my mother would KILL me. He lies, he covers up, he's got a ridiculously twisted history...he's put Nola in great danger many times. Just KNOWING this man puts one in great danger. This "love story" made me hurl back in the day & it still does now.

Lisa isn't only giving a really convincing portrayal of someone in distress. Michael is also giving a true portrayal of someone who is truely concerned about Nola's condition. Quinton is probably also blaming himself for what happened to her.

I've never seen Floyd with such short hair. He kind of reminds me of Tony Dow with the way he talks here. What is Lesley Ann wearing? A travel bag?

That should have been up above before the year, 1983 (not 1982). Anyway, I'd like to see some more scenes, if possible, how the Derek-Katie relationship went post these scenes (as well as Hillary-Tony relationship) and yes, please more Nola-Quint and Maureen-Ed scenes up to and including Ed and Mo's Valentine's Day wedding 1983, if at all possible after these scenes. Please?

I'd like to see that scene, as well, even though I don't remember it (there was much during the late summer/fall of 1982 I didn't watch at the time because of constraints on my time then). So, I'm guessing from these scenes that after Hillary and Derek broke up, and Hillary started going with Tony for a while, Derek must have been dating Katie until actor Harley Venton (Derek) left the show before the year 1982?
