  • @11rjstewart lucky?! This guy probably worked his ass off to get to where he is. Things like this can be accomplished by a lot of people, but few have that much will to continue training to these kind of lenghts.

  • My School's Record for the mile is slower than most of those splits.

  • what are these shorts? i like them, i want to get some!

  • @alaskaheaven oh i know the feeling buddy, i was having trouble with that before my trial to make the track team at my college. what you do is find something like a stool or a chair that is just below knee level. with one foot on the ground and one on the chair, bring your body up and down in a smooth manner (20 reps and 3 sets; may vary depending on your strength) do that for your injured knee as well. the most common problem is that the muscle surrounding your knee isn't strong enough.

  • not arm protectors, they are compression sleeves. They force blood out of the arms making more available for the legs, heart, and lungs. Arms don't need much blood when running.

  • Someone may answer me why these arms "protectors"?

  • shin splints just watching this

  • @kozmon0t 1:45 into the video, not 1 hour and 45 minutes for 31.6 miles.

  • @alaskaheaven This is only my opinion from experience, but if you have anything that needs ice, you shouldn't be running in the first place. Ice is useless, it does absolutely nothing to heal or prevent injuries, it just temporarily removes some of the symptoms. What you need is rest, not ice.

If resting up doesn't fix things, consult an sport orthopedist.

  • @kozmon0t

he said at the end, 30 miles at 2:54, plus a mile and a half, im guessing that was the interval bit.. 1:45 was spend with Ryan Hall
