Hi Redhead, Just havn't "heard" anyone be as truthful as you! Having just written to my Bro. Franc in Aussie, and feeling a little like giving someone a hug of comfort, I needed to be more forgiving, I realized, befor I could comfort somebody else! Then I read so much into your words, I felt tearful, I was the one who needed the love that i didn't receive when I was young. I felt 'left-out' of the circle of love in my life and then found I was unable to feel LOVE, as if I was different!

Oops! I forgot to mention that my message is addressed especially to floridaredhead!

Surrender yourself to Jesus. He will help you overcome your anger. We all have our defects, yours is anger, as you say. Don't get angry at the world. People are not all selfish and cruel. Some are, but most of them are not. May God bless you!

Does anyone have a copy of the Taize recording "stay here and keep watch with me"? Many thanks

I'm a redhead in New Mexico, Prayer for HUMILITY has helped me lose my combative and angry nature. It's called PRIDE! Going to Confession and staying in the state of Grace to continue to Receive the HOLY EUCHARIST keeps me in check. I flare up occasionally but I don't give in as in the past. Try what has helped me, it could help you too. PEACE.

I think sometimes it's harder for some people to learn how to forgive, than for others (although it's always a struggle for everyone..). For me it was pretty hard. I believe that God really cares about our intention, if we really try, even if we fail - He understands.. and prayer really helps, for sure. :) it might take some time, but if you keep on praying about this, you would eventually notice changes. God bless you
"We can build only by starting from what we are, with our limits and our frailties. God places a treasure of the Gospel in the vessels of clay that we are." Thank you stevesilvia for these inspiring words of Brother Roger. The music accompanying is equally wonderful. May the Holy Spirit fill our hearts with his peace.

@linoug181, you said it better than I could ever even try. Thanks for your comment!

I wish I could learn how to live a communion life, more able to forgive. Sometimes I think that is hardwired into certain people, and it cannot be "learned." I don't think I am able to do that, so I stay away. I am too combative and angry by nature. I get so hugely frustrated by people and want to punish them for being hurtful and stupid and whatnot...
See why I feel like I can never be a real Christian of any stripe??

floridaredhead, I think we are all the same. We have to learn new habits, and attitudes. I know I am always trying to overcome anger, but it does work to pray about it.

Oh, "Taize" is a divine revelation. This holy, this is peaceful and this is love. May this recording help us all into the great Light of God, The Father of Light. Amen.
Steven thank you, well done and God bless.

Thanks, Mapollo is really the inspiration for this. I had to go and read all about Taize, and Brother Roger to do this. It's amazing what Brother Roger did, and how so many people came together, from different races and religions, to just have Communion with Christ. The Holy Spirit is truely working here.
