RAT TUDE

The only thing that bothers me is the possessive aggression of this dog.
My dog is a mouser/ratter. I take her out about once a week to flush out and kill the rodents. This way the wrong animals aren't getting caught in traps and I don't have to lay poison which is more inhumane and you risk secondary targets. We own a ranch and can't risk the diseases, fleas and bites to our various animals.

LOL. Awesome video. My dad's ratty final got ahold of a tree rat that'd been barking at him for about a day from a pecan tree. Tough break for that tree rat.
I've had ratters since forever. Such great dogs. Love to go hunting too. I could pick up a shotgun and jack shell into the chamber, my old dog would be waiting at the door ready to go.
Oh yeah, almost forgot to jump on the band wagon. . . "MIke! You murderer! For shame!!" Get over it people.
Good post
Why are people being so stupid? Terriers were bred to kill rodents, so if something small scurries around the floor, guess what? They follow their insticts to attack it and possibly kill it. Its who they are and an owner can spoil the dog with food and that terrier is still going to go after anything that looks like a rat. It can't be the owners fault. (I have had terriers in the past) So grow the hell up and begin thinking logically.

my rat terrier killed countless mice fleeing from an empty pigeon pen... It was a massacre.
