@likeberly I am not Judo guy but I took it for a little while when I
was a kid. The only throw I can do is major inner resping aka
uchi gari or something. It can even work if you force it but with
the proper timing it slams as person really hard.
I think it depends on the situation what the best move is.
For better info ask someone else though, I don't know much about this
stuff.

This is how my dojo performs the Sasae tsurikomi ashi technique.
Just a tiny bit different....
But I like this... I might try it.

This is one of my favorite techniques in judo. Many players ignore this throw, especially in no gi grappling. Thanks for posting.

@moonerjamerson Awsome.

@likeberly after you slam your opponent on the ground preferably the guy's head, you can start throwing bomb punches or go for an armlock

Well, thats the advantage of Judo. You use leverage to carry weight you normally can't with just your arms. Balance, leverage, momentum, all of these go into the factor of Judo. Strength is just another tool, but it isn't the base of Judo.
Even in MMA (which is done without shirts), most judo practitioners have this gift of always ending up on top. Most of their throws come from the clinch.
Assuming its a street fight, you can even grab their shirt or whatever for added grip in throws.

But can u reallly lift some body up with a clinch ?
Hi judo4mma, thanks for posting this!
When I use my foot to block the opponent's shin, should I do it like a sweep or should I just hold the foot there?

Hi macchxero, When doing this throw, you are merely blocking the guy from taking a step. There is little weight put on the foot/ankle and no sweep involved. ayjay

thanks for the videos man, they've all helped me out in sparring. Especially this one, I used to do a differant variation of the Sasae Tsurikomi Ashi where I would bring my hand under the persons arm and kind of holding on to the uke's body or shoulder but a lot of times I would lose my grip so the person would just fall strait ahead making it hard for me to finish it off with a submission but when I used this one it went a lot easier. Thanks again! :)
