This was one of their better models for sure, as it had very very good recording quality. (I have the built-in microphone version)

I have the same model except the cassette door is black instead of silver. The speaker vent is silver. I have to say it has very good recording quality and is AC bias!

OMG !! The first tape recorder I ever owned was this model. I used it to tape stuff off TV, before the home video recorder came along and I still have boxes of recorded cassettes of themes, shows and other stuff, never dreaming you tube would come along so I can relive what I taped lo those many years ago.
