Immortality is only beneficial under 3 circumstances.

1. If you aren't alone about it.

2. If you are healthy and don't get sick think about it having a chronic illness and live forever how sad.

3. Isn't used so that we've got a lot of people to study medicine on. But we certainly need to experiment with people to get someone immortal and I hope that'll be many many years in the future. 4. Can't wait to see it happen though. 5. Oh hail the mighty cupcake orbiting andromeda.
