Typically Tropical - Barbados 1975 The original of a Vengaboys hit

1975 was a fantastic year in Europe we had the wonderful summer that was both warm and long, even in areas where it does not happen that often.

We must not forget the music which was released in 1975. Really great music from 1975 is still alive. Both the original version and cover versions.

Barbados was a huge hit for Typically Tropical in 1975. But a bigger hit with the Vengaboys in 1999 "We're Going to Ibiza" and well into 2000.

In the video there is a lot of pictures with hits from 1975, they have nothing to do with Typically Tropical. Other than they were hits in 1975.

was invited to Jamacan party, and as this tune was playing, a jamacan chap same age, said you whites cant sing like us ? without saying a word i motioned him to go over to the DJ on end of record i asked the DJ ... singer ... black or white ? .... last i saw of him all night :)
