Picked up this plane well used. Wanted to have some skilled pilots fly it before I crashed it. There were strong cross winds that changed direction by the minute this day. Second flight was cut short due to the engine running poorly. Need to go through the engine & fuel system to see what's going on.

Engine is a Taurus 62cc

  • Nathan, hope you're still having gun with the 109. Did you get the engine sorted out? Anyway, I still appreciate your interest in the 109, as the sale allowed me to finally finish my latest project: huge F7F tigercat. I tried to post a link, but it's not working. ah, well..

    Regards,

    Noah

  • @Bf109driver Glad I could help haha! I haven't had time to go through the plane though but I'm sure it's something simple like a fuel line or the tank. Hopefully will have time soon to do that and get some paint thrown on it as well.

  • Hello ! This ME109 is 84" or 100" env?

  • @thiagopivoto This is the 100" Wingspan version.

  • Man that looks like fun! Wish i had a plane like that. Does anyone make an A-1o style rc plane? thanks Gregg

  • @truckpipe Oh yeah. All depends on what you want to spend. You can get a small electric ducted fan model up to a giant scale turbine model. Price range is about $300-$20,000 (yes those are the correct amount of zeros.... :O )

  • Good to hear. Looking forward to more videos, with new paint applied!

  • Thanks for letting me tickle the sticks. The plane flew very well. Needs the high rate on the rudder for take off and maybe less Expo on the elevator for landing. Glad I did not grab the corn on my take off :)

  • Cool beans!

  • Nice score :)
