William Pratesi's proposal to Laura Bradley during the final scene of Newnan Community Theatre Company's March 2011 production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's "Cinderella".

After dating for over a year, they were cast as Prince Charming and Cinderella for the show. William immediately knew he would propose to Laura on the second Saturday night show, which fell on her birthday, and began planning the proposal two months in advance.

The ring is a 3-stone, white gold diamond ring custom made by Spence Morgan of Morgan's Jewelers in Newnan, GA.

Jennifer Dorrell, Becky Clark, Paul Conroy, and all the people at NCTC for both allowing me to interrupt the show to propose and for practically bending over backwards to help make this happen. I couldn't have done it without you all, and words can't describe my gratitude to you for helping the proposal go off without a hitch.

The entire cast and crew of "Cinderella"- You have all been so wonderful to work with and I'm so glad you helped make the proposal that much more special for Laura. You all have a very special place in our hearts.

Laura's family- Thanks for playing along and making sure Laura had no idea what surprise was in store for her. I love you all.

My family- For being so supportive of me through the years and especially during the show. I love you guys.

The Audience- Whether you were in on the secret or not, you were all perfect with your reaction. Everything went exactly as I had hoped it would... better, even!

Finally, thank you to Malcolm Hamilton, my future brother-in-law, who captured the proposal on video so we could share the moment with everybody.

(Apologies are due for the [sometimes] bad sound. This was recorded with a Flip camera and the overall noise level from the audience or on stage sometimes drowns out parts you want to hear. If you listen closely, though, the entire proposal is audible)
