Napoleon Total War: The Battle of Waterloo 1815 1/2

I just bought NTW & this is the 1st battle i played, in Napoleon's Battles section at Waterloo. As u will notice i don't have much skill on this type of warfare since i prefere ancient & medieval warfare more, even tho i already had Empire Total war, i only played it a few times & stopped but i bought Napoleon totalwar anyway & i can tell u its so awesome. I'm not gonna stop playing RTW, Alexander, RTW BI & Medieval2 TW kingdoms but i'm gonna have to learn more about NTW units, tactics, formations, capabilities & most of all naval battles. I quickly made the teutorial & started with the battle of waterloo & although it wasn't on hard mode, i expected to lose but i kept defending my objectives at 1st untill the Prussians arrived then i sent evryone to take away their cannons & Napoleon fled lol. On hard mode they would have chewed me up tho but like i said , its my 1st battle & i have no skill in it for now. Sadley my ally Blucher got killed, tho he saved my day like in the real battle, but i killed Marshall Ney aswell. The characters are so great & graphics are awesome.

how do you play it as the british i can only play it as the french?

@POESFTW really? this was a historical battle of waterloo mate & other historical battles u can play as either one side or the other. if i'mnot mistaken even in custom u can play as the british but its been a while since i last played it.

@Sonnypjim09 tnkx mate, ye i forgot to form squeres when the cavalry arrived, i'm still learning this kind of warfare tho but tnkx for the advice :) i gotta try some naval battles too.

@POESFTW you have to have one of the dlc packages in order to play as the british and another historical battle.

After you play this a bunch of times even on the hardest difficulty the AI gets predictable. Last time i played as the British i won with minimal casualties and obliterated the French army, all before Bluchars arrival
