LOL! yeah im sure kepler is a very good example, not all these modern scientists are atheists right? Well its a shame he didnt mention that kepler was born in 1571. He makes it sound like kepler was alive only a short time ago. But i suppose that christian teachers are good at misleading people.

If god is all knowing and all powerful, why are his creations flawed, what is his purpose, what is our purpose, what is the purpose of that purpose, why did god create satan, and indirectly create sin, and then punish people for sin? Why does god continually kill innocent lives and allow his children to suffer in such a hateful universe he created? Why is god all loving and yet so sadistic and hateful.
If he knows the begining and end of everything, then why does he need to test us in life?

"The bible is understandable and logical." So why is there absolutely no connection between the length of a year and the lenght of a day?
-
Dude, great stand up comedy routine.
-
"the basis of logic and reason"? I know where the basis is certainly not to be found. Not in a work of fiction.

I can't believe that this guy can say everything he does and still keep a straight face. Surely this whole thing is satire.

Seriously, i could do the exact same thing with LOTR. I Could assume that that book is the god, Tolkien's, true words and build a model of the universe that fits with his stories from there.
The bible is a book of stories. It should be read methaforicly at best. Genesis is only there because the people who wrote it had no idea of what really happened, so they gave "God" the credit for it.
As science progress, more and more of the bible is proven false. It's just a matter of time untill all is.

In kepler's time, atheists would never be taken seriously. You'd be lucky to avoid being burned at the stake.
Sometimes I wonder if Galileo and many other scientists would've been atheists had they lived in our time.
Well, there's one thing a standard planetarium can do that yours can't: tell the truth.

The crust of the earth of both Americas is moving from Europe and Africa at the speed of which finger-nails grow.
lets see... finger-nails grow 1 inch per year, 12 inches in a foot, 5,280 feet in 1 mile and there are 15,000 miles between America and Europe.... So how long did that take?
950,400,000 years... creationism suck!
