Creating a die cut card design using the Silhouette Studio software. I make the card from all the die cuts in my next video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CGYGrTHEqck

  • @CJ31520 I *think* (but I'm not totally sure) that you have to add a 'dashed' line to create a score line. It basically cuts a perforation which weakens the card at that point enabling you to create the fold. I prefer to add my own score line in using a bone folder once the card is cut out as this looks neater to me. Hope this helps! =)

  • Hi Wendy thank you for showing us how to make the card it makes understanding the software so much easier.

Could i ask you if you can add a score line to the card on the fold so that the machine will not cut right through ?

    Thanks

  • @DaisieMae12 I use the 'Camtasia' software for the pc. It is super easy to get used to the pan and zoom function - it sounds like it would be perfect for your needs! Hope this helps =)

  • Hi Wendy thanks for sharing and teaching it's really great to see all the features. I was wondering though what program you use to get the screen video. I like the way it zooms in etc - I have to move my camera about (I do Cricut videos mostly and the new Cricut craft room is online) thanks for your help in advance :-)

  • @fajerfijie In the Silhouette Studio software, go to File>Preferences>Measurements then change to cm and hit ok. Hope this helps =)
