WIth all the bad press on SANRASM lately, I thought I would return to a happier time when SANRASM was sort of intact, had working locomotives and could run trains... features 6A 454, Kitty, Hunslet, and the REGM 15BR.

  • A reminder of the truly great days of SA steaming. I can still recall the sound of the 7A and 6A locos hauling goods wagons up from East London docks up the steep incline towards the main station in the early 1970s.Sometimes triple heading. Sadly all gone now but good memories linger on.Thanks for posting.

  • beautiful filming and loco's

  • Where did it all go so wrong? I see all of these components rotting away today, I dont see anything moving there anymore. Congrats on having the foresight to have saved this material so that we could see what was . 454 is amazing. A wonderful and very sad video.
