Kodak zi8 and aiptek GVS descussion

another quick question fishy.... the GVS, When its plugged into a tv.. do you also get live "audio"?

@XCasperProductionsX PRe video not while recording, there is an adjustment to set and once set itwill stay that level till you eitherreadjust or cam off

t h a n k y o u . there you go, it is not of the limiter, I am after but the Sound we have to keep adjusting, the db in my eyes may be set just off by a few, and to comftablly sit back and listen to a video I like to shoot without keep going back and setting the gain, over, and over.

I have a segment with fireworks, and if that holds true a limitor ten we'll know, and confirm. Thanks Vwest.....

The Zi8 has an audio limiter; the Aiptek does not. The limiter automatically reduces the volume of loud sounds; without it, the Aiptek's audio overmodulates and sounds distorted.

Note: The Zi8's audio limiter works regardless of your mic gain setting. So if you turn up the gain all the way, it will amplify the quiet sounds, but loud sounds will still be reduced.
