So TSO is rerecording Gutter Ballet but it's going to be more of a bluesy Motown feel according to Paul O'Neil. If they mess with this song I am going to be so pissed. They didn't tone down Christmas Eve....they shouldn't tone this down either!!! It's freaking perfect!!

Even after its creation in 1989, I still get goose bumps all over and tears always try to form evrytime I hear it. The greatest rock opera of all time. RIP Chris Oliva. We miss you alot.

@lacytim I had a guitar duel with him at a music store once in new york city,I was just in the right place at the right time,I am getting old now, but we had a good go of it, and a massive great time playing guitar I thanked him he was a real down to earth guy,I truely miss the man and his riffs.

For my money, THE most underrated metal band of all time. Savatage should get MUCH more credit for helping to kick start the symphonic metal subgenre. Wonderful bands like Kamelot and even Nightwish owe so much to the Gutter Ballet album.
