Touhou 8: Imperishable Night - Stage 1, Easy

Yes, easy. I have problems playing the game on Normal, but I storm through most of easy, and I didn't want to play hours just to get a good run -_-

Anyway...
I'm using Reimu and Yukari. They have homing bullets, a small hitbox and longer reaction time for a deathbomb.

Stage one is very easy... the boss is also easy... seriously, I don't have anything to say about it :/
Oh, and the last boss is a SHE! Just like every other character in the whole series.
...Oh, and on easy this boss doesn't have a Last Spell card :(

Q: What is Touhou?
A: Touhou is a series of mainly curtain fire (also known as bullet hell) shooting games.

Q: Curtain fire?
A: Just look at the amounts of bullets coming out of enemies at the later stages or the harder difficulties...

Q: How do you dodge all of that??
A: Well your hitbox is very, very small. A lot smaller then the character sprite! When I'm a youkai (the other character) you can see a small white dot on her. That's the hitbox.

Q: Wow. It must be easy then, right?
A: No!

Q: Why THIS Touhou game, and not another?
A: I just like it the most! This game is generally one of the easier ones. It's also the only one to have Last Spell's, and those things can be a life saviour. You also get to continue from where you got killed, and not from the beginning of the stage, though if the Time gauge reaches 5 am it's Game Over.

Q: What's a spell card?
A: When you get a bosses (white) HP bar down they will fire a spell card. Each spell card if different and generally has a pattern that you have to use to not get killed. You can win by getting the boss' (red) HP bar down, or by surviving for an amount of time. Killing him will give more points and is usually faster. You also have spell cards in the form of "bombs" that you can fire to clear the screen of enemies and bullets and damage bosses.

Q: OK, and what's a Last Spell?
A: A Last spell is something bosses fire at the end of the battle. They become immortal and you get your bombs blocked. You have to dodge everything. If you get hit even once the spell card ends. You don't lose a life it you got hit, but also don't get bonus points. Since they are immortal, you can't kill them so you just have to wait out the spell card. Notice that they get a ring around themselves that closes in on them.
As a player you also have Last Spell card. If you get hit, there's a short windows of time (varying based on different circumstances) in which you can fire a Last Spell. It will take 2 bomb power ups and you'll lose time orbs, but you won't lose a life, and the bomb will be a lot stronger.

Q: Time orbs?
A: This game has time. You start at 11:00 pm. You have to complete the game before 5:00 pm. Time is added after you continue, beat a stage or get hit by one of the final boss' Last Spell cards. Time Orbs are worth points, and if you have enough, the time increases by 30 minutes, and not by a full hour once you beet the stage.

Q: You didn't tell what's Grazing yet.
A: Not a question. Anyway, Grazing is something non-human characters can do. If you get a enemy bullet to touch the ring around your character, but not the hitbox, then you "grazed" the bullet, and will get bonus points for it. This is key to high score runs, because you want to graze as much bullets as you can, you generally let bosses live, and kill them in the last second to get a kill bonus. Crazy stuff @_@

Q: Where can I get it?
A: Japan. Sorry, but you'll have to import it probably.

What kind of soundcard are you using?

@iPixzel Creative SoundBlaster X-Fi Platinum.

I do not recommend this particular model, since for some reason it can only record 1 sound channel at a time, so you can't record the game and my commentary at the same time, and also can't record while I'm on voice chat with somebody since they'll just get the game sound instead of the microphone.
