Just got my letter from AT&T saying they are going to cap my net. FUck them man. If you live in SC don't get AT&T it's a SCAM!

Oh yah PS, the telus plan for overage fees are 5 cents per MB. This means if I go over the cap, it would cost an additional $50 for 1GB in overage.

I am from Canada. I had a Telus Internet Stick and they cap me 5GB per month. They also offer 10GB with the "Turbo Hub", that is the biggest 3G Cap here. The turbo hub is for "Rural Canadians", but honestly 10GB Cap is a JOKE! There is a Motorola Canopy provider here called Eastlink, speeds are slow (around 1Mbps), but I don't have a cap. Just slow speeds.
REMOVE THE CAPS!

It is seriously wrong. Here in Mexico we have very slow and expensive internet, and they just started implementing this crap. If you want a connection at around 700kbps you need to pay about 100 US a month, and they want to cap it!!!!!!

you know how dangerous that is to set up a chain link internet that is getting access to everyones personal computer. what we need is another company a company for the people to setup a HIGH SPEED WIFI INTERNET ACCESS OFFERED BY AN ISP DEDICATED TO ONLY HIGH TRAFFIC!

The headlines in tomorrow's newspapers will be "Cable Company destroys Internet"
Because as soon as you try to control people..they will create a new way..
What we need to do is create a wifi to wifi internet..where each person becomes a broadcaster from wireless to wireless creating a linking chain which will transfer data via wireless hub to wireless hub...exchaning information by passing cable companies. PERIOD!!!
