  • why not use a Bic lighter? Takes up same space but starts alot more fires and will even work after its been totally submerged..........

  • @johnboyrebel27 I don't trust lighters. I have a few in the pack but They're more there incase i need to sterilize a needle for removing splinters or for burning ends of Paracord. And for the same amount of space, I'll take a fire steel

  • Nice! Just be sure the sandpaper will work with the brand of match you are using. Test one to be 100%.

  • @jonmath1 Not only have i Tested one, I've tested 3! lol thanks for the comment Wolf =)

  • when your fire-steel arrives...you can take a slice of fat-wood and add in that match-tube ...

  • @gagalmg thats a good idea. thanks gaga =)

  • Great idea. Thanks for sharing.

  • Will have to add tube to my kit. Thanks for the tip.

  • Good tips...I like the inner tube idea.

  • @snappydog357 its way to hard to get on and off. If you had car innertube i could see it but this is just bike innertube. way to small for that

  • you could keep all the matches in the case by puting the inner tube on the outside of the match case. Just an idea.
