@thatlolagirl he doesnt say but it looks like a J sz hook!!!! if you use a j hook and the hat is too big you can use smaller hooks to achieve a smaller size....hope that helps....cathy@ mikeys helpdesk :)

the fingers you are referring to are "your index and thumb"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!­!!!!!!!!!!!they are not holes, they are stitches also; the slip stitch is joined not put thru the hole! wake up and smell the coffee - you said you have been doing this for 25 years! give me a break - you look around 25 in your video - is that a joke you are trying to make? I don't like it or get it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@FIGGYWOMAN Wow you are pretty critical... Sorry I don't meet your expectations and for the record I am 37 years old. I have my method of teaching and it works immensly... for every critical comment, there is nearly 1000 positive ones. THank you for stopping on by. and by the way... Hi~ Thanks for posting this tutorial, I've made several hats so far... But, I do want to say one thing-- 14 videos and we have to listen to your intro everytime! Argg! :-) Seriously though, is there a way to skip it?

Yeah I got that complaint several times over a year ago when I first was doing that... it's why all the collection since that point has no intros. Sorry about that. I don't have the original files of this tutorial anymore to change it.

I might be deleting this tutorial series soon anyway...

What size yarn do you use for the baby's cap? I'm assuming it's worsted correct? BTW, I learned from your video how to crochet! Kudos for you who can teach all of us who don't know how to crochet, and your video is easy enough to enable us to learn! Tks. Don't cancel your tutorials!
