Physical spaces used for intergenerational interactions should be designed in such a way as to promote the development of positive relationships among people of different ages. Find out what the research says about creating environments that promote intergenerational interactions and stimulate both cognitive interest and rewarding social engagement. You'll explore elements of environmental design, along with research principles from education and the neurosciences, to understand how the right design can support the well-being of differently aged participants.
