class song from a class band.they should have replaced brian with somebody purple did it queen did it even uriah heep have done it several times and still are big ..still great vocals
dont forget brian was no good without sweet it works both ways i saw him a few times his voice was shot andy and steve are still gigin so that cant be bad

Steve was always my favourite when the band were in their heyday, but these days I tend to believe that it really was a collective effort between all four of the lads, ably abetted by Phil Wainman, Nicky Chin and Mike Chapman of course. Though the band was still okay after Brian left, they were never quite the same. Its great that both Andy and Steve are still strutting their stuff. It just a shame they aren't sharing the stage.

The main reason they play seperately is because Steve lives in the USA and Andy lives in England. I believe that Andy always left the door open for Steve to join with his band again but Steve never wanted to, and then Steve started his own band. I don't think Andy minds Steve having another band called sweet, but I think that Steve may be worried about Andys reaction. As far as I am aware though, they are still on speaking terms.
