  • If you want to make a good wooden man, you should choose a log that is 8 foot tall, next use a special drill that is used for drilling front doors to put locks in, this you need to use to drill into the log for the three arms and leg. Next you will need to digg a hole two foot deep, and buy three bags of postcrete, be careful as postcrete will set in 5 minutes, so make sure you have it where you want it. Allow the earth around the post to settle, and WALLA, your own wing chun wooded dummy.

  • Uhh....did you see the finished product?

  • That's pretty cool, how slim or how long are you trying to get the diameter?

  • The diameter of the pole is 9 inches and I want it to stand at least 6 feet tall.

  • I know its a little late to tell you, but its not a good idea to use a telephone pole for wooden dummy... that is if the wood has been impregnated with chemicals. If so its very unhealthy

  • Nuthin like ZZ Top to build shit to! Keep posting the progress... I'm building one too!
