Hey... Yeah I do get the rattling but it really isn't a problem if the amp is being used in a band set up... But yeah I am led to believe that is a design issue.. I don't really notice it though to be honest... But there are probably ways around fixing it if you research it. I haven't really felt the need to be honest!

Yes it has a nice rock sound and is loud enough to gig - especially mic'd..

You may want to add a 2x12 extension cab for more bottom end though if thats your thing. I have run it through a marshall 1936 cab (2x12) which does sound very nice with this amp!!

Hey I've been thinking of buying this amp. How is the tone at mid to lower volumes?

I think it sounds awesome at low volumes... its pretty low volume on the clip actually. I love this amp. Its great.. I want to put more demos on but bloody youtube seems to be so much harder these days to upload clips. Anyone else experienced that or is it just me?

did you have any of the rattling problems from the tubes with this? (or anyone else who owns/has owned it) ive heard its quite common and annoying with this amp and its the only thing holding me back from getting one

People please don`t get sucked into the Marshall vibe. They are a marketing powerhouse. Your favorite players you see using Marshalls usually have them modded to eternity and often used as a backdrop but really playing through something else. All I say is rent one for a week before you buy. It could be the best $60 you spend!
