I am from Lithuania.. that was an epic patle.. but I am wondering what hapended to Italys national team? u still have plenty of great players all over the Europe and even NBA.. what is going on? thank you for the answers :)

Ed in finale contro l'argentina un dispiacere enorme perchè Pozzecco era l'anima della squadra con lui in campo potevamo perdere... dispiace aver perso con lui in panchina a guardare...

Il basket è uno sport di squadra, nessuno puo' chiedere a quei tre giocatori di giocare con la nazionale italiana e vincere le partite da soli perchè non lo possono fare, loro sono bravi giocatori ma anche le altre nazionali hanno giocatori forti come loro e per vincere serve una squadra di buoni giocatori con un gioco e un'anima che attualmente non c'è.

Poi questi giocatori si conoscevano bene e anche l'allenatore sapeva sfruttare queste caratteristiche dei giocatori. Adesso l'italia ha 3 giocatori che giocano in nba, ma ormai tante nazioni hanno giocatori che giocano in nba...

Secondo me la verità è che nel 2004 nella nazionale italiana giocavano giocatori che avrebbero potuto giocare tranquillamente in nba (basile, galanda) e poi aveva gianmarco pozzecco, un giocatore unico, geniale, con capacità offensive (passaggio, 1vs1) che gli avrebbero permesso di giocare in nba e che se motivato era praticamente immarcabile, capace di aprire da solo la difesa avversaria e liberare spazi per quei grandi tiratori da tre che l'italia aveva (galanda, basile) ..
