Your date/bf/etc is what I like to call a "limit-tester." Right now he is checking to see how you react to different levels of offensiveness, to test how much he can get away with while he's in a relationship with you. If you're not enjoying this at any time, you need to communicate your displeasure ASAP. Otherwise, enjoy the racist jokes! :D
My sister fell in love (and eventually married) with a guy who appears to be borderline-racist, but is just trying (mostly) to get a laugh out of her.
