15 inch subwoofer

one 15 inch digital audio sub in my box i built. it has a 1600 watt class D mono block hifonics amp pushing it with an alpine ivaw205 headunit

inverting the subwoofer is crap because when you invert it the air that comes out of the woofer doesnt hit the box so if you put it normal it would sound louder.

@JoseNunez600 well the air coming off the cone is now hitting the box so its just they same..... its just it louder this way because this box is to small so i get more airspace out of it this way...

@888burton888 i had about $2,000 total in wires dynamat dvd player sub and amp but new it would have around 3k but i bought the sub and amp off my cousin

@halrey4life <------ he's right. The purpose of the box is to alter the wave coming off the backside. thats a sub played without a box barely makes a sound.

my 2 10's are about the same. i have re audio se series in a ported box with 2.95 cubic ft of air space and an old rockford 1500.1 db. im upgrading to a single adire brahma 15 mk1
