Dirty Hammond spinet

Who says that Hammond spinets can't sound dirty? :)

This is blues improv. on my Hammond P100 through Leslie 760 with built in MIG LRII (tube Leslie simulator). Also, I have removed capacitor C203 from Hammond so now it has the keyclick and sounds much more interesting. At least to me. :)

I have ordered new set of tubes and filter capacitors so in couple of days it will sound like new.

I have put my mobile to close to the keyboard so you can hear how my fingers are hitting keys. Sorry for that.

Very nice playing. I wouldn't quite say that the sound is 'dirty', but its warm, a little fat, and heading in the right direction. 'Dirty' is the sound of Stevie Winwood's Hammond on 'Gimme Some Lovin' !

By the way, he used a hammond M-100 -which is also a spinet like the P100 but with a better vibrato- without Leslie at that time.

@THEFINALHAZARD hook her to a tube guitar amp and play the power tubes! You'll be very close if you do a proper setup and play loud (so the keys klick) the spinet is just great with what she has already!

There are cheaper ways but a real tube Leslie would be the most simple way to get an even better sound. IMHO What type of Leslie do you have?
