You should be worried.. processing diseased animals into dog food does not kill TSE(Mad Cow Disease). Mad cow is an infectious disease in the brain of cattle. Humans and animals who become infected, usually by eating tissue from diseased cattle, will die of a similar brain disease that may develop over many years. It basically puts holes in the brain.
Recycling at its worse that has become a deadly cycle for all of us.


Don't want to believe this video beacuse its just pictures? Go do some research and you might find things that are worse.
Pet food products have been linked to causes of many diseases, cancers, death and many more problems in our pets.

Another thing that comes from rendering plants is an indredient in alot of our household products called "tallow". It can be used in crayons,bar soap, candles, oil, cosmetics cleaning products and even lubricant.
Tallow is the hard fat contained by the animals that end up at rendering plants.

Everyday, hundreds of rendering plants across the U.S. truck millions of tons of this "food enhancer" to poultry ranches,cattle feed-lots,dairy and hog farms,fish feed plants and pet food manufacters where it is mixed with other ingredients to feed the billions of animals that us meat-eating humans,in turn,will eat too...
If this doesnt make you want to become a vegetarian and feed your dog homemade food....I don't think anything will..

This video is all wrong...Any food that you can buy at Wal Mart or the grocery store is worthless(not ALL dog food is made this way!). They make hollistic pet food, that is NOTHING like this! Its all natural & contains no by-products or fillers. You should look it up & stop wrongly informing people.

@oOWintersKissOo I am very aware that there are "very" few brands that aren't made this way. But how many people do you think even know about the contents of a huge portion of the pet foods out there? So no I'm not wrongly informing people. This video is for the people that didn't know about any of this, not for the people that have already found better ways to feed their pets.

And like all retail businesses they have catchy advertising, deceptive packaging, labeling and promotional material to make people believe that they NEED their product. The only right diet for pets is raw.

To FoxyGirl991, all dogs seem to love horse and rabbit poop as well but that doesn't make it good for them.

@FoxyGirl991 the basis for you saying that the food you feed your dog is good for them is only heresay. I highly doubt that you done anymore research than reading off the back of your dog food bag, which doesn't really count as thinking for yourself. At least shawnee has done real work at looking into this.

However, which one of you is right i myself still am not sure, but i do not like the idea that we should think dog food is good just because the companies that profit say it's good.

That is why i made this video to help pets because no they can't talk or walk on two legs or make decisions for themselves. As pet owners it is our responsibilty to know what is going into their bodies. And some people don't. I'm not telling you to do anything.But no that food is not "high quality".
