  • thats pretty kick ass

  • @smitty8986 Thank you. After using it for a while, one gains A LOT of confidence in it. It's so safe to use, it's actually fun. The whole thing weighs about 40 pounds but has 800 pounds of floatation to it. It can be assembled, by two people, in about one minute.

  • nice concept, I understand the physics of weight dispersion, but wouldn't just sliding one segment in front of the other woork a little easier, like replacing logs to move a heavy object?

  • Sliding would work if there wasn't deep snow to contend with or a strong wind to blow one piece away. Also, as for retrieving it back to shore with it's included lifeline, it's easier to leave it all in one piece to retrieve it. Also it's mechanics place each platform precisely where it needs to be with no fumbling around.

  • that wouldnt work its still thin ice

  • @ethantup456 It does work. First: It's designed to NOT break through thin ice. Second: If it does break through, it doesn't matter. It walks over broken ice.

  • Epic fail.

  • If u can make it more convient, ill definately purchase. I think that is jus to big to fit my car

  • Thats a very cool idea. Maybe its not speedy but at least you would feel better seeing someone actually on the way as opposed to no one. Hope is strength.

  • I'm trying to figure out if a victim would die from hypothermia or old age before you got to him.

  • not something i would put my trust in but its still safer than walking.... u could just put the boards with a pole in the middle that way u can just hold them, no need to throw a wet board over your head

  • HELP ME I CANT SWIM, im coming, half an hour later, where did he go?

  • Great invention, i'm sure all the people who doubt the capabilities would be sxreaming for it if the situation arose
