It started a domino effect which brought the economy to it's knees. What will happen with this bubble of national debt with only a fraction of gold reserves to back up the currency? And why is it that almost every country world wide is in debt? Does the world economy need debt to keep cash flow? I really don't get it. Hard as I try to understand this mess, I can't

@jasonthemankiller But of course Venezuela wont get that gold.The banks dont have it and they sure as hell are not going to buy it at today's prices of over $1,790 /oz. But somebody has all that gold, the actual physical stuff. It cant disappear into thin air on electronic airwaves like the fiat money and virtual trading of currencies. Where is it? They say Fort Knox is practically empty.Ordinary people like us require equivalent value assets to back up their loans, apparently governments don't.
