The Beautiful Parish of STA. Monica. Largest Bell in all of Asia. Located in the city of Panay on the Island of Panay in the Philippines. This was done for love.

Ahh.. That could be due to the compression engine they use. I've hear that there is software available to correct that by remapping the grayscale in the image but I don't know if consumer versions are available or how much it costs. Hopefully somebody will drop by and respond.

Thanks for the input. I agree with you, the problem I'm having is youtube I think. I took these pics into Adobe lightroom and into photoshop and made them look pretty good. But when I upload they get washed out. Not sure how to solve that problem or if I can.

good on ya! I grew up in Pan-ay - left 20+ years ago. We used to sneak up on that bell tower. That church is made mostly of corals and the walls are prolly 8' thick. The current Mayor used to be my neighbor. 'missed that town.

We are here for good as far as I know. Enjoy the island very much. The weather is much nicer then say Metro Manila and lots to see and do on this Island.
