As a child I always wondered how the religious people could accuse and treat Jesus as they did. Looking at this message board it makes a lot of sense. Whenever someone challenges the common understanding of the world people get very very angry. Let's be humble people. Just consider if at least some of what he's saying is true. Just because it's new to you doesn't make it new to God.

@ryanvh1 McLaren et al have left behind sola scripture- no matter what any man says- if its not Biblical which is staright and revelaed to us by the Spirit- its not for our ears- these emerging men have an agenda to bring us to a world religion without Jesus, without Scripture and witha mystical emphasis and no objective truth- not for me thank you- Jesus Christ, His Word, His Spirit ONLY

Amen Brian. Christ makes all things new. Christianity has had some really horrific beliefs in these years following Christ's death and resurrection. One of the most damaging one being the idea of an eternal hell. It's time people were freed of such blasphemous ideas. Let's change this world for Christ.
