Kabuki class Performance

Just the teacher and I this time.

At the end, I got nervous and messed up. I wish it wasn't so apparent. I had the thing down pat too! Oh well!

The second part is a story about a man who wanted a spear the Emperor had. The Emperor laughed and told the man to drink a large bowl of sake. He was then to show he was worthy to have the spear.... while drunk... ^^

PS- this is just a class, it's not REAL Kabuki.

Really?! Awesome!! Sadly the instructor that was teaching here had to sop for a bit. : ( I miss it!!

I honestly don't know where to find the choreography. A lot of it is just story telling and using certain movements to express it. Best bet it to see what others do and adapt from there. Best of luck!!

hello, ! this vedio is great! i was wondering if you had any infromation you could help me with on how to train a kabuki actor? i have to wirte a paper on helping a man train a kabuki actor for a specific play... is there any techniques he would use?-- anything even if small can help -- do u know anyone who does kabuki who i could possibly contact?
