This is an unboxing and first impressions video of the HP iPAQ 910 Business Messenger, a Windows Mobile Professional smartphone running Windows Mobile 6.1. This is a 2.46 inch touch-screen phone (320 x 240 resolution) that also features a front-facing QWERTY keyboard, so it's a bit different than some of the phones I'm used to looking at.
The iPAQ 910 uses a Marvell PXA270 Processor at 416 Mhz, has quad-band GSM/GPRS and tri-band UMTS/HSDPA, meaning it's a true world-phone that can get 3G anywhere it's available. It also has a 3 megapixel camera, USB 2.0, 128 MB of RAM and 256 MB of ROM. Impressively, it boasts a 1940 mAh battery, so it should have solid battery life. Bluetooth 2.0 and 802.11b/g round out the offering.

  • hi i just bought one of these in spain and i cant seam to find how to change it from spanish to english, any ideas?

  • @Estelicia88 Unfortunately, you can't. When you buy a phone in Spain, it's meant for that market.

  • how long it takes to turn on??? and you can save energy, turning off the ipaq but keep on the celphone mode??

  • From a cold boot? No idea - I'd guess 60 seconds or so. These phones aren't designed to be powered off...no cell phone is. As for turning off the iPaq, you'd press the power button and it puts it into a sleep mode - but the cell phone still receives calls. It's just like every other cell phone out there. :-)

  • I've barely used the Bold, and I've never used the Javelin - so I can't advise you.

  • hi jason, would you recommend this item over the bb bold? or javelin? or are the funtions just same as those smartphones?

  • Everything is Ok, but the screen is so small ...

  • It cannot work on Alltel as Alltel is a CDMA carrier. It works on any GSM network such as T-Mobile or AT&T. It also has EDGE and 3G, but it does not have EVDO speed since it is not a CDMA phone.
