After using a chainsaw to cut down a tree, we show you how to cut tree logs into firewood using your chainsaw. Eric also shows some of the proper chainsaw safety equipment you must use when cutting down trees or cutting up wood. Tree felling and cutting firewood are great outdoor projects, here we show you how Eric does it. Use extreme caution and follow all safety procedures when using a chainsaw.   • your chain needs a sharpen.

  • @davh1231 yeah, this was at the end of a day of work, just had the chains sharpened by the local small engine shop, they're better at it than i am and it supports local jobs. eric GardenFork

  • how things have changed i have been using a chainsaw for over 30 years. i have had no accidents touch wood lol but i have never seen so many new saftey features on the newer models the three of mine are old but i use them from day to day for my fires with none of the protection you an the other ppl on youtube have i only use eye protection . i think it comes down to luck an skill in a ways

  • Have to point out that your kneeling position towards the end of your cut was what we call an illegal operating stance......you might want to think about that for next time.
